How will my sponsored child/leprosy patient be chosen?
When you decide to become a sponsor, we choose the neediest children/leprosy patients who most urgently need support urgently, those is desperate need and at risk.
How often will I hear from my child/leprosy patient?
Initially you will receive a photo and personal information, and then you will receive yearly updated news and photo from either the child/leprosy patient or New Hope.
How can I be sure my money will be well spent?
All people involved with New Hope Australia are volunteers, and therefore we can say with confidence that at least 98% of your contribution goes directly to New Hope India. In choosing to sponsor through New Hope, you will join hundreds of friends worldwide to have a direct impact on the life of a child or aged leprosy patient, who without your help, will have less then a ‘fair change’ in life.
Can my help really make a difference?
Yes. Those who have been to visit us from Australia have seen first hand the incredible love and support that those in the New Hope communities receive, including the hundreds of children and aged leprosy patients in our care, and many hundreds more who receive outreach care – children on the railway station platforms, rural tribal women, people affected by cyclones and tsunamis, babies that need immunisation, cataract eye surgery, etc.
Your contribution will help to provide the care and support needed to sustain a better quality of life, whether it be immediate or long term.
How long should I continue the Educational Grant?
We ask where possible, that you commit to 12 months. However, becoming a educational grant sponsor does not commit you to a fixed period.
How to Cancel a PayPal Subscription to New Hope?
- Login to your PayPal account with your username and password.
- Once logged in click on “History” and Select the Hew Hope Subscription.
- Click on “Details”
- Click Cancel Subscription button at the bottom of the new page.
